Day 34 - food and more food

GOT OUR BEAST TIX. YEAH YEAH YEAH

Also, you know.
Went to Fitness First, the usual.
Getting in shape, YEAH YEAH YEAH

We went to Pantip - mentioned earlier in a blog. We walked around a bit and got my dad's record stereo thingy that is like a decade old and is an original. He got it fixed and literally brought it with him onto the plane from the U.S. Anyway, I bought a plaid red long sleeve shirt. I was looking for some more long sleeves and this one immediately caught my eye. The lady was super nice and allowed me to try on 3 different colors and understood my poor thai language speaking ability. Anyway, nice collared shirts are hard to come by, usually the store Express is round $25 for the cheapest while here it is around $6-8 for the cheapest. I also tried on some formal black pants and grey and bought it too. I bought a size up because thai sizes shrink in our dryers and are usually smaller anyway than usual. I don't own any formal wear, so I've started to look for some here.
My dad's friend Key, is one of my dad's best friend. His nephew lives here and he is only visiting for 2 weeks. We ended up eating at MK's and sat in the SAME seat as last time. Whoaa. No beautiful view because it rained all day.

P.S his nephew's shirt was too small for him

When you order Black Canyon Coffee,
you get type crackers. So we spelled words!
Too bad half of them was eaten.

Key was like, "I guess its too late for coffee now, its almost 4pm"

My reaction: "WHAT? It's never too late for coffee."
For dinner, we ate at swensons.
YUM YUM YUM.

My brother got one with a U.S Flag.
No, it isn't edible.
My sister and I got the prince and princess.
My aunt bribes everyone so we all vote #1.
Sunday is the votingz!

uhhh, this will be interesting.

i'm voting for people i dont know.

Day 33 - Shabu shi

What time is it?
GAME TIME!

Just kidding,
thats a pep rally chant from high school.

It was really 7am when I took this photo of my sister.
She looks SO excited to be up. She napped while I got my daily dose of free tea and learning experience from a book I've been reading these past few weeks.

I can't remember what we did honestly.
But we worked out for 2 hours and did a lot of strength arm weight training
(still sore after 2 days)
My arms are already big enough, so I hope it is somewhat just toning it and not making it any bigger.

Dum and Dew met us after we finished working out and we ended up eating at Shabu shi. Super popular restaurant for a number of reasons. I mean we were #9 on the waiting list and the mall literally just opened 15 minutes ago at 11am. It was packed and full of people waiting already. It is a buffet, not like a chinese buffet, but a sukiyaki and a sushi place. Only for $9 bucks. Talk about cheap to the max because one dragonroll in the U.S would be $9 bucks.

When you walk it, it is sectioned into 4 different aisles. Each with booths or with individual seating. With individual seating, you could get your own sukiyaki pot whereas the booth is only 1 big central one for the family.
 SUSHI BUFFETTTTTTTTTT

Japanese vs Regular? I'm not sure. Anyway, theres two different soups.
The ingredients to sukiyaki roll down on a conveyor belt.. Like a sushi train, but with sukiyaki ingredients like shrimp, cabbage, octopus, beef, chicken, mushrooms, etc.

We look so awful after working out. SO SO awful.

So then, this is what we literally do all day.
My sister watches k-dramas and movies.

And then... theres me, munching on crasins
and working on websites.

This is super irrevelant to anything on this blog,
BUTTTT.. we wanted bananas.

Day 32 - DA MALLs

Another 7am wake up call to fitness first!
Bought 30 cent bananas on the street.
So glad they have random vendors up this early.

My sister and I decided to attempt a cycling class. Little did we know that this class was RPM CHALLENGE. So, it was more difficult than ever. When we walked in, we basically figured everything out why watching how other people adjusted their seats and all. Following the teacher was fairly easy as she repeated words like "Get ready for the drop" "Seat down" "Go up two!". The music was fantastic and made it easy to follow. If there was a beat coming up, it meant we would stand on the bike and pedal up like a hill. My thighs and legs were aching and dying the whole time, but it was worth it. My shirt was drenched afterwards. It was the hardest fitness class I ever did. It even beats kickboxing.

My aunt said it was a holiday, but really she meant weekend. It looked like a holiday because we walked out to a PACKED mall. Basically, everyone in bangkok has nothing better to do than to hangout in the malls all day. Not surprised though because the malls here have everything to kill time from arcades, movie theaters, restaurants, desserts, coffee, book stores, clothing, shoes, doctors, random health slim centers, hair cuts, etc.
Ate at a sushi conveyor belt place. It was expensive >:(
as in paying 20 bucks to eat for 2 people is expensive now.
But they had good dessert though.

Went home, showered.
Took a taxi to "THE MALL"
They were having a 50% off sale on everything. I bought a lomo camera, because I've always wanted one. I also ended up buying these cute designed stuffed mouse arm rests. It attaches to my backpack so its the perfect mouse rest on the go.

Also, We walked around forever and I was eyeing this Victor  sleeveless badminton shirt the whole time. We didnt get it till the end because I failed to notice the 50% sale was ending in a few days. Anyway, my aunt bought alot of the stuff for me today which is greatly appreciated as they will be of good use in the future. I've been looking for a sleeveless badminton shirt forever because I workout and play badminton mainly in cutoff sleeveless cotton shirts. It'll come in handy for my future tournaments this fall/next spring.

I still want to play so badddddddddds. I also should re-design the site. Perhaps a new logo too?

My sister and I stopped by a few korean pop stores. She's a big fan of that stuff and I just like some of the music. Mainly the dancing is what I love the most.
If you have ever seen LITTLE NICKI. That movie. You know what I'm talking about when you see this.

Food hall cafeteria food. yum yum yum.
We got coffee before we left the mall at like 7pm or so. It kept me awake fo sure. My coffee addiction will return in the fall semester, no worries.

On the way home,
Found out we are going to Changmai, the 3rd-7thish. So I have high expectations for this because it's a different city. Better have some funsy stuff.

Which sadly makes this week,
The last Fitness First week.
My sister and I have enjoyed working out everyday so far. I'm surprised we have even been able to get up at 6am.

Day 31 - More Soreness, tired

Our fitness goal:

no really, we want to bring sexy back.

So here we go, early in the morning as can be for these past few days. I wonder how they are able to design a parking garage with 1/2 levels? Genius. We still sneak into the back of Central.

J-Lo is warming us up on the bikes. We are too sore to do the treadmill today, so we go for the bike. If it was a real bike, I would fall off. I haven't owned a bike in years.

I love the music that they play here in Fitness First.
Please give me the playlist.

And also the cute people we see.
Me: "Omg, look, a tall cute guy"
Sister: "Ohh, I know. His skin is scarless and soft. I bet he has skin insurance on his smooth clear skin"
Me: Crap, he's in the cycling class, we are doing that next week"

Our 30 cent delicious sandwiches we buy off the street.
Best idea ever. A lot of workers just buy their lunches off the street.
 DEADDDDD. mall.
TEAAAA, because we literally went at like 7am when we wanted to go there at 8:30am. So I read, and my sister napped. They give us free tea and coffee. LOVE.

Since today is lacking and its 1/2 of my trip *cries*
My next video includes planking...and varies of other things i forget to mention in this blog.

Really, my memory is bad enough!

I forgot what I did today,
then I remembered that I didn't do anything.

I literally took a nap from 4pm-7pm.
Day wasted and gone.

Currently working on 4 websites. Omg. Ive never been big on making websites, but taking the website class actually made me love websites and creating them. Butttt, it requires me to sit down and work on it continuously. Pffttt, I gotta harvest my crops and watch CSI. kbye.
